集团化小组：[VVOPPT-JOPP28-JPPTL98-LOPPNN]外研社杯比赛TheStonesLadiesandgentlemen,goodmorning.It’smygreathonortobehereandgiveyouashortspeech.Todaymytopicis“TheStones,GropingtoGrowth”.BeforeIstartmyspeech,Iwanttoaskyouall:haveyoueverheardthestory“LittleHorseCrossingtheRiver”Thelittlehorsedoesn’tknowthedepthofthewateranddoesnotdaretocrosstheriver.Soheasksaround,everybodygiveshimdifferentanswersaccordingtotheirownexperience.Itmakeshimevenmorescaredoftheriverthanbefore.Afteralongstruggle,hefinallytakesthecouragetotryithimself,andrealizesthattheriverisneitherasshallowasthecowsaidnorasdeepasthelittlesquirrelsaid.Ialsoexperiencedaconfusingperiodlikethelittlehorsewhen….Ihavealwaysbeenkeentoexperienceeverythinginlife,andhenceIbelieveI’mofversatiletastes.ThiskindofclevernessleadsmetothinkthatIcanbegoodatmanythings.Tome,allthethingsIwanttotryislikeriverstocross.Withjustafewstepsintothewater,Icanenjoyallthefunfreely,jumpingandrunninginthewater;movingforward,thewatergetshigher,itisstillfulloffunandexcitement;yetwhenI’mapproachingthemiddleoftheriver,Ifindmyselfsurroundedbywater,andIcan’tseewhereIcango.Istarttogetscaredandconfusedanddon'tknowwhattodo.Thenoneday,Isawthewords“newmedia”.It’sjustlikeahugestoneholdingmeupoutofthewater,soIcanhaveabroaderviewaround.“Icandoit,”“Iwanttodoit,”again,IhaveadeterminedmindofwhatIwanttodoandwhereIwanttogo,sinceIcanseethatwritingwouldbemyfootingstoneoutofthewater.thesekindsofknowledgeIhaveseenaboutknowingmyselfarecominginlikewater,whichletmesuddenlyrealizethatmyfishbaitiswriting.ButwhenIrealizedthatonlywiththecorecompetitivenessoftheindividualcanstandup,IknowIdon'thaveitatall.However,havingadirectiondoesnotmeanthatmyproblemhasbeensolved.AlthoughIwrotealotofarticles,Ididn’tdaretosubmit,forfearthatotherswouldrefusemebecauseIdidn’twritewellenough.Istartedtodoubtmyselfagain.Idon'tbelieveinmyselfandIamnotsureifIcandoitwell.Thenagain,Ifoundmyselflostinthevastwater.Atthistime,thelittlehorsestorycameintomymind.Itoldmyself:“justdoit,whatcouldbetheworst”So,Isummedupthelessonsofmyfailure,andimprovedmymethodsstepbystep.Andfinally,myfirstpassagewasusedrecently.Actually,onthepathofgrowth,weareallcrossingtheriverttherearealotofriverstocross.Wheneveryoucomeacrossthedifficultone,don’tbeafraid,don’tturnaround,ortrytodrownyourselfinit,juststepintoitandcarefullyfeelforthestonesthatcanholdyouup.Whoisnotgrowinginthegroping?That’stheendofmyspeech,thankyouforlistening.
