iodspriortotradesforclientstopreventmanageoffrontrunning.Jobofferorpotentialisakindofconflictsource.Thebeneficialowningofsecuritybyimmediaterelativeisaconflict,butnon-immediateisnot.VII.ResponsibilitiesasaCFAIMemberorCFACandidateA.ConductsasM&CintheCFAprogramB.ReferencetoCFAI,theCFADesignation,andCFAProgramCheatinginanyexaminationisaviolation.ExpressingopinionorbeliefsconcerningCFAIorCFAprogramisnotinhibited.UsingCFAcommitteepositiontobenefitselfisaviolation.MembersmustsignPCS(ProfessionalConductStatement)&payduesannually.CFArelatedsignmustusedeitherafterthenameorasadjectives(notnouns).M&Chavetherighttoexpresshis/heropinionofCFAandCFAplanevenifit’snegativeopinion.AnnualconductreportisanobligationofMembers.“Highestethicalstandard”ispermittedtodescribeCFA.
