It is our duty to protect our environment. There are many reasons for the environment pollution. Some factories pollute the air and water. There are too many cars in the cities. They pollute the air, too. People don’t save things. They waste paper and water the most. In order to protect our environment, our country should close down the factories which pollute the air or water. They are very dangerous to the people near them. Our city should have more buses and bus lines. People can take buses instead of driving cars. We should not waste things. We can take short showers and use both sides of paper to save water and paper. In a word, something must be done to protect our environment. 第3篇 As we all know, we can’t live without water. Fresh water on earth is limited. In my opinion, it’s very important to save water. Last summer holiday, my classmates as well as I went to a village as volunteers. It was very dry and there wasn’t much water for the villagers. To my surprise, each family had only one bucket of water to drink and wash. I deeply realized the importance of saving water. Since I came home, I’ve been doing my best to save water and called up people around me to join me. I’m happy that what I’ve done makes a difference. We should take our own bags when shopping instead of using plastic bags from the supermarket. We can buy few clothes which are unnecessary. We shouldn’t buy or use one-off cups, chopsticks or bowls. It’s good for us to walk or ride bikes to school instead of driving cars. We can also plant more trees to improve air around us.
