Terminal Settings” --- “File Management” --- “Copy
Files” --- “Copy Fonts” ---- “External Storage 1/2” --- 选中字体文件,然后选择“Destination”是 ”Internal Storage”. 2. 在Rsview Studio中下载字库simsun_2_50.ttc到PVC,
3. 在Configuration Mode, 进入 Terminal Settings/Font Linking.
4. 发现列
中Arial font.
5. 点击 "Show Links" 键.
6. 点击 "Edit Link" 键.
7. 浏览 main font, 在列表中选择Simsun.
8. 点击 "Add Font" 键.
53463 - Max PanelView Ethernet Connections to MicroLogix
How many PanelView Standard / PanelView Plus / PanelView Component can be connected to the
Ethernet port of a MicroLogix controller?
While the practical limit is two PanelViews per MicroLogix 1100, it is possible to go up to:
3 PanelView Plus connected to the ML1100. This is due to the connection limitations. Each PanelView
Plus can potentially use five connections. The MicroLogix 1100 supports 16 incoming connections and 16 outgoing connections.
3 PanelView Standard will work just fine with the Ethernet port on the ML1100. PanelView Standard
can use up to four connections. Although you can use up to four PV standard, if you use all four, you will
not be able to get online via Ethernet as all of the possible connections would be used. The PanelView Component consumes one Ethernet connection, but the practical limit is 2:1:
, 2 PVc per MicroLogix 1100
, 2 MicroLogix 1100 per PVc
63165 - PanelView Plus Compact Machine Edition Applications Limitations What are PanelView Plus Compact Machine Edition Applications Limitations? Compact Machine Edition Applications
Compact Machine Edition applications are applications intended to run on the PanelView Plus Compact terminal.
Compact Machine Edition applications have the following restrictions:
, A maximum of 25 displays.
, A maximum of 200 alarm messages.
, A maximum screen resolution of 640x480.
, Only available in 4, 6, and 10" screen sizes.
, Only one RSLinx Enterprise shortcut; if no RSLinx Enterprise shortcut is defined, a single
KEPServer Enterprise data server can be used to communicate with a single device.
,
o The Kepware Hilscher Universal and Modbus Plus communications drivers are not
supported for PanelView Plus Compact terminals.
, Only serial and Ethernet communications; if the application uses RSLinx Enterprise, only
Serial-DF1, Serial-DH485 and Ethernet drivers are supported.
, Only RSLinx Enterprise version 5.20 or later and FactoryTalk View Machine Edition version 5.1
or later supported.
, FactoryTalk ViewPoint not supported.
55149 - How to use Global Connections Current Screen Number for PLC screen
navigation on the PVc?
How can the PLC cause the PVc to change screens?
Assign a external tag to the read and write fields in Tags/Global Connections tab. At runtime the PVc will write the current screen number to the write tag (Destination Tag ) in the PLC.
The PVc will read from the read tag ( Source Tag ) which will allow the PLC to control screen changes.
The operator does not have control over screen changes until the read tag has a value of 0
(zero). Please allow time for screens to draw on screen changes before changing again.
21321 - How to change screens in RSView Machine Edition from a remote location.. Application Note:
To change to a specific screen from a remote PLC, a tag must be selected in the 'Global Connections' / 'Remote Display Number' field.
A (screen) number, written to this tag, will initiate the change to the appropriate screen. The number
of the active screen will be reflected in the tag assigned to the 'Display Number' field. The value of the 'Display Number' field can be used as an acknowledgement to the PLC.
Additional Notes:
If a value other than 0 is left in the 'Remote display number' field, manual changing of screens will not
be possible, the PLC will maintain control of screen changes. If manual screen changes are desired
along with PLC control, the value of the 'Remote display number' field must be reset to 0. This can be done by writing a 0 to the tag from the PLC after an acknowledgement of a screen change. Another
method could be to use a startup macro for each display that resets the 'Remote display number' tag to 0.
If using a pushbutton from an HMI to change screens, there will be an additional 1 second delay.
(approx.)
Only 'Replace' type displays can be changed remotely because the 'On Top' display type cannot be
assigned a display number.
Summary: This technote describes methods for changing screens in Machine Edition, from a remote location. ie: PLC, HMI, etc.
