《英语散文选读》课程教学大纲(1) 《英语散文选读》课程教学大纲 课程编号:01130130 学分:2 学时:34(其中实践学时:0) 授课学期:第6学期 一、课程的性质、地位、作用及与其他课程的联系 本课程属于英语模块选修课程，是本科英语专业高年级的一门专业知识课，供英语专业 高年级学生选修。目的是通过教学使学生综合了解英美文化、风俗、习惯、历史、传统等许 多方面的知识，体会名家对文学、艺术、历史、社会、宗教和日常生活领域的精辟见解，提 高学生的审美情趣，文学修养、鉴赏水平和文化综合素质，初步学会分析和欣赏名家名篇， 把握作品中反映的不同时代社会、哲学和艺术思想。此外，英语散文阅读还学生通过学 习不同的体裁的文章，包括随笔、书信、游记、演说辞等，掌握其写作特点，从而在写作中 学会有意识地选词和用词，提高英语作文的质量，并进而写出优美的文章。 其先修课程为“基础英语”(1、2、3、4)。 二、课程的教学内容与要求 Unit 1 My Wood 【教学目标】To understand E.
