If you are interested with our offer, please contact us.
正:If you are interested in our offer, please contact us.
In my home country farmers are busy to harvest rice at this time of the year.
正:In my home country farmers are busy harvesting rice at this time of the year.
When the waiter asked if did he want more coffee, he nodded Yes.
正:When the waiter asked if he wanted more coffee, he n. odded Yes
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
误:The visitors were plentifully supplied with. d rink and food
正:The visitors were plentifully supplied wi. th food and drink
What was surprised me most that he failed in the final exam.
正:What surprised me most was that he failed in the final exam.
Her illness is merely a device to avoid to go to school.
正:Her illness is merely a device to avoid going to school.
Doing their homework, the students went out to play football.
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
正:Having done their homework, the students went out to play football.
The match had to cancel owing to the bad weather.
正:The match had to be cancelled owing to the bad weather.
I am easy to answer the question.
正:It is easy for me to answer the question.
同样癿道理,要表示某人很难做某亊,不能说sb is difficult to do sth,而要说 It’s difficult for sb to do sth。
After the help of the police, I got back what I had lost.
正:With the help of the police, I got back what I had lost.
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
She tried to hide the truth to her teacher.
正:She tried to hide the truth from her teacher.
Don’t afraid, and we’ll protect you.
正:Don’t be afraid, and we’ll protect you.
Those flowers so beautiful that I want to pick up some.
正:Those flowers are so beautiful that I want to pick up some.
This is a very useful English dictionary, and I think you will like.
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
正:This is a very useful English dictionary, and I think you will like it.
It is said that the teaching building has been built five years ago.
正:It is said that the teaching building was built five years ago.
Influenza is usually broken out in winter.
正:Influenza usually breaks out in winter.
You should take good care of your things carefully.
正:You should take good care of your things.
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
This is one of my most favorite songs.
正:This is one of my favorite songs.
1. 词忢癿平行:平行结极中癿词戒短语应具有一致,戒接近一致,癿词忢;
2. 时忞癿平行:平行结极癿时忞一般情况下要求保持前后一致;
We are going to go to the shopping center and buying some presents for our teacher this afternoon.
正:We are going to go to the shopping center and buy some presents for our teacher this afternoon.
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
误:He abandoned his wife and goes away with all their money.
正:He abandoned his wife and went away with all their money.
Unfortunately, my car broke down anduringd I was s it was tuck here being repaired.
改为:Unfortunately, my car broke down and whiI le it was was stuckbeing here repaired.
He confidently authorized me to act for him while he is abroad.
He used to be very anxious if he had to makeeven it wa a speechs only a , speech to his old school.
改为:He used to be very anxious if he had to meven ifa it wake a spes onecly h, a speech to his old school.
It was cold there even in July.
400-080-6358

Even if I have to walk all the way I’ll get there.
With the cost of keeping money in the bank increases, so it’s spent faster.
改为:As the cost of keeping money in the bank increases, so it’s spent faster.
He will improve as he grows older. People’s ideas change with the change of the times.
She crawled cross the floor, her eyes stinging from the smoke.
改为:She crawacrossled the floor, her eyes stinging from the smoke.
比较:cross the street 横过马路 / walk across the street 走过马路;cross a river 过河,渡河 / swim across a river 游过河
We were driving around outside when unfortunately three old ladies emerged from the hotel and castraightlym acrosse in front of us.
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
改为:We were drarouiving nd outside when unfortunately three old ladies emerged from the hotel straightand came ac ross in front of us.
We enjoy fresh vegetables and fruit, straight from the garden: fresh orange juice, fresh fish, fresh bread.
He fell down to the ground,en and his moutheyclosees op.
改为:He fell down to the ground, his mouth openclosed. and eyes
说明:open 和 close 均可用作劢词,前者表示“开”,后者表示“兰”,是一对反丿词,如:Please open your mouth.(请张开嘴),Please close your mouth.
It was at the tip of my tongusude todenly tell the him, phone rang.
误用:It was at the tip of my tongue to tell him, when the phone rang.
We were about to start, when it rained. She was walking down the road when she heard someone shouting
400-080-6358
www.zhan.com
for help.
He used tafraio d of heights but he has got over that now.
改为:He used to be afraid of heights but he has got over that now.
No matter what happens I’ll stand by you. so don’t be afraid. Nobody need be afraid of catching the disease.
Do these students against the plan made by the teachers?
改为:Are these students against the plan made by the teachers?
Are you for it or against it?
There was a switch in the schedule, so we met in the morning instead the afternoon.
改为:There was a switch in the schedule, so we met in the morning instead
the afternoon. of
You should encourage her in her attempts to become a doctor, instead of being so negative about it.

She opted for a winter vacation, instead of one in the summer.
Even if we could afford it, wgo to te wouldn’he abroadt for our holidays.
改为:Even if we could afford it, we go abroadwouldn’t for our ho lidays.
He was facing a difficult choice between staying with his family or working abroad.
No matter how hardly they work, the person they are responsible for is working twice as hard.
改为:No matter hhardo tw hey work, the person they are responsible for is working twice as hard.

I was sure he was telling the truth and yet I did find it hard to believe.
Cameras can’t make the kind of adjustments the brain does and this factor means that a drawing of a place and a photograph taken of the same spot look vdiffeery rently.
改为:Cameras can’t make the kind of adjustments the brain does and this factor means that a drawing of a place and a photograph taken of the same spot look verdiffery ent.
类似地:The dinner smells good. Silk feels soft and smooth.
Reluctantly the night porter decided that he would have to disturb asleepthe guests.
改为:Reluctantly the night porter decided that he would have to disturb the sleeping guests.
He awoke the sleeping child.

Buying cheap tyres is a false economy-they may cost a bit less, but they will wear outfairly m ore quickly.
改为:Buying cheap tyres is a false economy-they may cost a bit less, but they will wear omuchu [t far, a lot] more quickly.
说明:fairly可以修飣形容词和副词癿原级,但不能修飣比较级,可用二修飣形容词副词比较级癿副词戒短语有:a lot, a bit, a little, any, by far, even, far, much, no, rather, still等。又如:For them enthusiasm is a lot more important than talent.

Angel and I were off to another life, another world, which was hopefully much haa ppier one than the one we had known at the orphanage.
可用二修飣形容词副词比较级癿副词戒短语有:a lot, a bit, a little, any, by far, even, far, much, no, rather, still等。又如:Nowadays children are much healthier. It is much cheaper if you buy it in large quantity.

colde than rShanghai.

representatives of the older generation were there. The government’s policy on higher education is a success.

The US emitsas eight times carbon dioxide as lndia, despite having less than a third the population.
改为:The US eigemiht tts imes as much carbon dioxide as lndia, despite having less than a third the population.
说明:修飣 as…as… This room is three times as large as that one. There are five times as many widows as widowers.

The more I thought the aboumoret it, I bec ame confused.
改为:The more I thought abou the more cont it,fused I became.
说明:由二 the more 是修飣 confused 癿,所以应将 the more 直接置二 confused 乀前。 The more things a man is ashamed of the more respectable he is. The more learned a man is, the more modest he usually is.

who knew of it already.
正确:The only people with whom discusshe cou the plan ld were those who knew of it already.
If ymentiou on about my name to the door-keeper he will let you in.
正确:If you mention my name to the door-keeper he will let you in.
