Topsage.com Papa Bello Enterprises, a US-based company which operates and franchises Italian-style eateries, has opened its first international franchised restaurant in Shanghai, China.   The Papa Bello Pizza restaurant is owned and operated by the regions area developers, Zhiqing Ma and Hsiao Endy. This location represents the first of a minimum of 60 restaurants to be constructed under the terms of the development agreement.   According to the company, a staff of approximately 65 employees operates the nearly 8,000sqft unit, designed to give the customer an American-style dining experience and atmosphere. In addition to dining-in, customers also have the option of delivery, take-out and catering.   The company has said that the construction on a second location in Shanghai is already underway with completion slated by the end of March 2009. This 3,500sqft restaurant will also focus on both dine-in and delivery in order to service its business and residential surroundings.   Chase Canfield, CEO of Papa Bello Enterprises, said: "With the opening of our first international location, we are pleased with the results and acceptance of our brand in China.
