人教版初二英语下Unit 26 Lesson 102说课稿 Junior English Book 2B Unit 26 Lesson 102 一,教材 (一) 教材地位和作用: 1.“Miss Evans ” 是人教版初二英语(下)最后一个单元第二课。它是一篇阅读课文,本课文复习了一般过去时、(it was cold , but the trip was pleasant and the people were enjoying themselves.Her name wa Miss Evans and she was going home to Boston)过去进行时(A young woman was sitting near the poor children. )两种时态,还有情态动词(have to /must /could);形容词的比较级、最高级( the largest and finest ship, even colder ,more than „);不定代词(someone,nobody);反身代词(themselves);并列句(连词and ,but的用法);there be 结构等六个知识点,我认为教材把它放在初二最后一个单元来学,是因为它起了以点带面的总复习的作用,这样安排有利用于学生复习并巩固已学过的知识,也为初三年的英语学习打下较好的基础。 2.课文叙述了一位平凡但无私和英勇的Miss Evans的故事,它既对培养学生美好的思想情感有一定的作用,又能让学生了解一点英国的背景知识(当时的英国的造船业)。这与英语课程标准要求帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异,拓展视野,形成健康的人生观的目标是相一致的。 (二)教学重点和难点: 1.掌握好本课的Words and expressions 是重点。 2.如何通过阅读把课文的主要内容复述出来是难点。 二、教学目标 (一)根据新课标要求,学生的情况以及本课教材自身特点,我制定以下教学目标: 1. 语言知识:14个四会生词和词组 (Words:set ;pleasant;hole; sink /sank;life;lifeboat;thankful;) (Expressions:set off; here and there ; on watch; look out; in front; make room for ; take one’s place)(全体学生) 2. 语言技能:培养学生独立阅读能力和复述能力;(A组同学) 3. 情感态度:培养学生良好的人生观。(全体同学) (二)学生具体情况:目标的确定,能否完成目标还是看我所教班级的学生及课堂情况来定的。我所教班级的学生基础参差不齐,有十位学生几乎放弃了英语的学习,因此我根据学生情况把他们分为A.B.C三个组别,希望通过不同层次的教学,能让这十位学生有点信心。所以在授课过程中对他们的要求也有所不同。 三,教法和学法 (一)教学方法 本课为阅读课,传统的教法是讲释法。要改变单一课文讲释法,本人想从探究的角度去适合本班学生学习特点的教法,就是把信息技术与英语阅读课进行整合,本次授课主要采用了视听法和提问法相结合,借多媒体手段来完成教学。 1、视听法。主要是通过多媒体课件展示、录音机播放,提供让学生看、听、读、说的练习机会。 2、提问法。主要是根据阅读课的特点,教师和学生分别设题,提供师生交流、生生交流的机会,让学生在做中学,在实践交流中获得信息,习得英语。 习方法 (二) 学 教务于学,教学的主要任务不仅是积累知识,更重要的是发展思维。教师在传授知识的同时,更主要的是要教会学生方法发展能力,通过思考,将有关知识重新提炼。一个有经验的教师应当把他的成功看作在于他使学生通过教学以后能独立地依靠自己的力量迈开自己的步伐。只管自己怎样教、不问学生怎样学的教师不是一个称职的教师。因为他的教学不可能培养出有独立能力的学生。传统教育的弊端,是只重视“怎样教”而忽视“怎样学”的后果,“高分低能”的现象十分严重。向传统教学挑战就必须向学生传授学习方法的知识。课堂教学是教与学的双边活动,教师的主导作用主要通过教法来体现,学生的主体作用也应该在学法中体现,这样才达到教与学培养能力的目的。 鉴于本课特点及学生现有知识水平,我准备引导学生采用“视听法,听说法,问答法”等三种方法来学习本课。通过听、看,达到有所思,有所得,能说出有关生词和词组,帮助不同层次的学生掌握学习重点;多表扬、勤鼓励,使不同层次的学生都有学习积极性,并在知识,能力,情感方面均有所提高。 四.说教学过程 合理安排教学程序是教学成功的关键之一,针对学生的认识状况及本课材料特点, 我采用五个教学步骤: Step 1: Presentation(导入)(设疑激趣,引入新知) 1.用Powerpoint “The ship Titanic” 导入,并插入 Celine Dion演唱的英语歌曲 “My heart will go on” (为学生创设一个音图并茂的情景,激发学生学习兴趣,直接引入新知识)。 2.教学本课第一部分 提问(1)Do you know anything about the ship “Titanic”? Titanic”? (2)Can you say something about the sad story of “ 学生双双讨论 ( 这时教师用Powerpoint展示有关图画,帮助学生讨论)。 After a few minutes, let them report their ideas.(此时教师可引导学生参阅课文注释的背景知识,了解西方文化) 至此完成本课的第一部分教学。 Step 2: Reading (利用多媒体,掌握新知 p57 .Part 2) 1. 首先采用限时阅读方式(用课件展示课文内容,学生利用课件直观阅读课文,这阶段学生可以猜生词 的意思。)然后回答Who was Miss Evans ? (she was a woman on the Titanic , who got out of a lifeboat to save a mother.) 2. 教师教生词,学生慢速阅读并学习生词。(师生均采用配画阅读方式) 3.解释“set off, on watch , come to a stop make room for me, take my place, lose one’s life ”(利用课件中的超级链接重温课文内容,复习并巩固本课的教学目标1.) 4.学生理解了故事内容后,让他们听课文录音,并且跟读(配画录音,学生通过视、听、读方式,掌握本课的重、难点,我认为采用三种方式学习阅读课文比单一的读更利于学生对知识的学习) 5.反馈练习,在强化新知过程中复习过去时态,冠词、连词、反身代词及有关词组,通过学生做练习完成本课目标1,突出了本课的教学重、难点(教师用Powerpoint展示出来练习,The Ss do Wb.Ex.1 in class, 让学生学会阅读,达到培养学生独立阅读的能力。完成了教学目标2)。 Step 3:Practice(学以致用,应用新知) 分组学习: 1. A组学生根据课本设问题;B组学生再次细读课文;准备回答A组同学问题;C 组同学继续学习这课 的生词和词组,准备让B组的同学听写。接着A组和B组同学问答;C组同学仍然为听写准备。(教 师这时可以根据不同组别的学习情况进行及时指导) 2. A 组同学与B组同学提问回答后,进行复述准备;B组和C组同学进行听写。 3. 全班同学回归原位,听A组同学复述课文(对C组同学要求他们能听懂今天所学的词和词组)。 (这个环节是教学难点能否得到完成的关键。教师要注意调节个别学生不参与学习的情况,允许学生利用多媒件课件加深印象,即重复课文录音,重放Powerpoint,复述句子,注意语音语调。总之,要求每位同学都大胆说,以加强学生的语言表达能力和记忆能力。在这个环节中化解了教学难点,完成教学目标2) Step 4 Practice (知识的应用与创新) 1. 教师小结(用课件小结本课的重点) 1.set off: Early in the morning, we set off to climb the hill. They set off at six and hoped to get there before dark. 2.look out: Look out!The pan is on fire! Look out!The ice in the lakes is very thin.don’t skate on it : Who is on watch now? 3.on watch The man on watch fell asleep that night. 4. the first This book is among the first books published there She was among the first to arrive. 5.room There is room for three on the back seat. There piano takes up a lot of room 6.take one’s place Jane is ill today. So I shall take her place. I can’t come to the meeting myself, so my secretary will take my place. 7.join„ in„Will you join us in the party tonight? Will you join us in a game of bridge? 1.Set off 出发;动身;启程 2.here and there 到处;处处 3.on watch 值班;守望 4.look out 留神;注意 5.in front 前方;正对面 6.make room for 给„.腾出地方 7.take one’s place 坐某人的座位;代替某人的职务 8.come to a stop 停了下来 9.lose one’s life 丧生 2.教师讲述并给出一个新话题,培养学生的良好人生观 Now, class. What do you think of this Miss Evans? I think she was a heroine and she was very brave. At first she could be saved. But she gave up her chance because she thought the woman’s children needed their mother. She didn’t say much. The only thing she said was, “Take my place. I’m not married and I have no children ”You see, in time of danger, people do different things. But what Miss Evans did showed clearly she had a heart of gold. She gave up her own life to help other people. This is really hard for people to do. If you were her. Could you do this? Of course I am not asking you to do such a difficult thing. But if you have the ability to help someone and it doesn’t do much harm to yourself, will you choose to help? Think about this. There are many things like this around us every day. Try to help other people when you can .You will feel happy about it . (培养学生的助人为乐的精神) 留一个话题给学生:What would you have done if you were on the Titanic when it sank? Step 5 :Homework Finish Wb.Ex2, 3. Write down your retold story about Miss Evans from Wb,Ex.2 五、评价方法设计 采用过程评价方法对学生进行评价。 1. 第一步骤。对学生的学习态度及参与性进行评价。及时对C组学生进行表扬。 2. 第二步骤。对学生的生词掌握情况进评价。主要是学生的听、学、读的能力的评价。 3. 第三步骤,考查学生的组织表达能力,交流沟通能力,(着重说的能力)的评价;对C组学生仍是学习 态度及生词学习情况的评价。 3. 第四步骤,考查学生对本课教学目标的学生情况的反馈,进行评价。 4. 第五步骤,通过作业考查学生对本课的的掌握,对学生的作业评价。 对本次教学设计及实践的一点思考 1( 由于采用的是视听法,提问法两种教学方法和视听法,听说法,问答法三种学习方法。要注意信息技 术与英语阅读课的合理整合,充分考虑各种媒体运用时,学生的情感态度,防止学生注意力的过多转 移,要坚持以教学目标为导向的原则,充分调动学生内在的学习动力,引导学生充分展示自己的能力, 增加自信心,培养他们各方面的能力。 2( 在上课时要注意学生在某一个环节掌握不好时,教师应及时根据课堂情况的变化而做出调节。(如学生 在掌握生词出现问题时,可以多复习一次。其他情况在教学设计过程中也要有所预见,如复述困难, 教师可以提供关键词) 3( 随时注意学生对本课知识点的掌握的反馈。(例如对第二步骤第5点的反馈练习的情况要给予重视(在 限时阅读和配画阅读时已经用斜体及画线给予提示;这样也可教学生如何做到有效阅读,又培养学生 在独立阅读的学会运用正确思维方式来阅读)。 4( 整个教学设计过程大体分为四个环节: 教 学 Presentation Reading Practice practice 过 程 时 间 8分钟 15分钟 18分钟 4分钟 安 排 学 生 视听,思考 视听,朗读,作业 分组学习与复述 复习,巩固 活 动 教 师 激趣,播放, 播放, 引导,评价 巡视、指导、 小结,设题 活 动 评价 聆听、评价 5.教师在教与学全过程中需注意的问题: ?学生有问题要及时帮助;?了解不同学生的学习特点兼顾学生不同技能的培养,使其各方面都有发展;?强调合作学习。 5. 教师自我评价: (1)怎样进行英语阅读课的探究性教学的,本人认为在这次教学设计中有所体现,主要体现在教学过程的第三步骤中,它打破了传统阅读课的教学常规,让学生设题,通过学生的自主学习,这种有效的学习,可以照顾到不同层次的学生的学习,既满足基础好的学生学习要求,又使让基础较差的学生有的放矢的学习,也有自己英语学习的小目标。这也为英语阅读课教学如何真正做到让所有学生有效阅读有了一个突破点。 (2)限时阅读和配画阅读,通过课件来完成,也是如何运用信息技术手段和英语阅读课合理整合一种尝试,对今后的英语阅读教学提供了一次实践经验。 附:为确保课堂教学目标顺利完成,预备的有关措施: 一、帮助学生设问(Step 3 ) 1. In which year did the story happen? 2. Where did the ship start off? 3. Where was the ship going? 4. How many people were on the ship? 5. What was the weather like at the time? 6. What could people on the ship see here and there on the sea? 7. So how cold do you think the water was? 8. At what time of the day did the ship hit an iceberg? 9. Then what happened to the ship? 10. What could the people on the ship do? What was a “lifeboat”? 11. What did a woman suddenly shout? Why did the children in the lifeboat cry? 12. Who stood up and and gave up a seat to the mother? 13. What did she say? How many people lost their lives? 14. What happened to Miss Evans? 15. Do you know any more about Miss Evans besides her name and the fact that she was going to Boston? (提示:用Who, When, Where, What, Why,How设问,也可用一般疑问句) 二、为学生复述提供的关键词(Step 3) 1. set off , from ..to 2. pleasant, enjoy oneself , here and there 3. on watch , look out , in front 4. come to a stop . hole began . start to sink 5. as quickly as , get into , make room for 6. no more room . hear 7. sit. stand up take one’s place , married 8. thankful sink lost one’s life 9. 10. go home know about (提示学生注意时态的正确使用) 三、为学生提供说与写的范例:(Step 4 ) nk she was a heroine and she was very Now, class.
