商号、商标及公司名称翻译 毕业 Translation of Firms, Trademarks and Company Names Abstract The translation of firms, trademarks and company names is an indispensable part of the enterprises’ foreign marketing promotion strategy. Their translation should confirm to the language characteristics and cultural backgrounds of the respective countries so that potential customers will be established. This thesis analyzes the importance of translating these names by examing their specific characteristics and problems in translation, and providing methods of translation in the perspective of culture.The purpose of this research is to achieve a better understanding of firm, trademark and company name translation process and overcome the cultural barriers to successful translations of them.
