英文动机信MotivationLetterMotivationLetter                   December12,2014DearMr./Mrs.Iappreciatethatyoucantaketimeoffyourbusyscheduletoreadmyletter.ThisisaletterofmymotivationtoapplyforscholarshipoftheMasterPrograminElectricalEngineeringatTUE. First,allowmetointroducemyself.MynameisLiuJiapeng.I’manundergraduateofZhejiangUniversity.MymajorisBachelorofEngineeringinOpticalEngineering.Inthefirsttwoyears,Ididwellinmathematicsandphysics,whichwasnotonlyhelpfultomylaterstudy,butalsohelpfultomyfurtherstudyinpostgraduateeducation.Ialsolikeprogramming,sinceIfinditagreatsourceoffunratherthanaprocessofcreationanddesign.AfterlearningCLanguage,MATLABandProteus,Iputthemintopracticeandmadesomeproductssuchasauto-controlledcarsandaccelerationtransducer.Besidesthese,Ipassivelytakepartinextracurricularactivitieswhichpracticemyteamworkandgoodcommunication,aswellleadership,whicharealsohelpfulformyfurtherstudyandcareerplan.InmyuniversityIhavemademuchprogress.MygeneralGPAis:3.59/4andmajorGPA3.71/4.IwishIwereanidealcandidateforscholarshipofMasterPrograminElectricalEngineeringatTUE.Inaddition,inmyuniversity,Irealizedthatmytrueinterestwasinresearch.Ispentmuchtimeconductingexperimentsinthelaboratory.Undertheguideofmytutor,ImadeastudyonthenatureofGalnNas,whichwillbeapromisingmaterialforthefabricationoflightsourceusedunderthehightemperatureopticalfibercommunication.IhaveadesiretogainmoreadvanceknowledgeingraduateschoolsothatIcanputfruitsofengineeringintopracticeandchangepeople’slives.Itisthisdesirethatdrivesmetolongforfurtherstudy.IwouldbeappreciatedifIcouldbeacandidateforscholarshipofMasterPrograminElectricalEngineeringatTUE.   TheresearchonphotonicsofGraduateDepartmentofElectricalEngineeringinTUEattractsme.Iamnotonlyinterestedintheresearchprojectforelectro-optical,butalsoIamkeentotheopto-electronics.IhaveastrongdesiretocarryoutsuchresearchinTUE.Iamconfidenttobeaexcellentstudentandagoodresearcher.ShouldIbegiventhechancetogainscholarshipoftheMasterPrograminElectricalEngineeringatTUE,Iwouldreallyappreciateit.
