麻将打法(英文)MahjongSetupBuildingtheWallPlaceallthetilesface-downonthetableandshufflethem.Then,buildthemintoasquarestructureknownastheWall.IfyouhaveFlowersandSeasons(foratotalof144tiles),theneachsidewillbeeighteentileslong;ifyoudon't(foratotalof136tiles),theneachsidewillbeseventeentileslong.Ineithercase,itistwotileshighandonetiledeep.Placethetilesface-downwiththelongaxisofthetileprependiculartothelongaxisofthesectionofwallit'sin.BreakingtheWallThecurrentEastrollsthedice,andcountsaroundthetabletodetermineaplayer,whothenrollsthediceagainandcountsthatmanytilesfromtheendofhisorhersectionofwall.StaringwithEast,eachplayerinturntakesfourtilesatatimefromthewall(asectiontwotileswideandtwotall),repeatinguntileveryonehastwelvetiles.Eastthentakesthenexttilefromtheedgeofthewall,andthetiletwoover.Eachotherplayerthentakesonetile,leavingthetileunderthelasttileEasttookasthenexttiletobedrawnwhenthegameactuallybegins.Theseventhpairoftilesfromtheotherendofthewallistakenup,andatileisplacedontopofthelastandthird-to-lastpairsinthewall.ThesefourteentilesseparatedfromtherestoftheWallformtheDeadWall.GameplayObjectoftheGameTheobjectistocollectasetoffourteentilesgroupedintofourmeldsofthreetileseachandamatchedpair.Themeldscanbeeitherthreeidenticaltiles,knownasaPung,orastraightofthreetilesofonesuitmarkedwithconsecutivenumbers,knownasaChow.(Actually,setsoffouridenticaltiles,knownasaKong,canalsobeusedtomakeupthemelds,butthey'redescribedinmoredetailbelow,asthey'remorecomplicated.)StandardOrderofPlayTheplayerwhoseturnitcurrentlyiswillhavefourteentilesinhisorherhand(actually,theymayhavemore,duetoKongs,asexplainedbelow),whileallotherswillhavethirteen.Easthasfourteentostartwith,andgoesfirst.Iftheysomehowhavefourmeldsandapair,thistermeda"HandfromHeaven",andEastinstantlywinstheround,scoringthemaximumnumberofpointspossible.Normally,however,Eastmustsimplycontinueaswithanormalturn.Onaplayer'sturn,heorshewillhavefourteentiles,andmustchooseonetileanddiscarditfaceupintothecourtyardinthecenterofthewall.IfthenextplayercouldformaChowusingthattileandtwofromhishand,thenhemaycallit,andplaceitandtheothertwotilesfaceupinfrontofhishand.Itisthenhisturn.Alternately,ifanyplayerhastwotilesidenticaltotheonediscarded,hemaycallitforaPung,andplacethethreetilesfaceupinfrontofhishand,anditisthenthatplayer'sturn,regardlesswhoseturnitwouldnormallyhavebeennext.Additionally,ifanotherplayerhastheotherthreeofthediscardedtile,hemayclaimitforaKong,andplaceallfourtilesfaceupinfrontofhishand.Hethendrawsaloosetilefromthetopofthedeadwall,andwillhaveonemoretileinhishandfortherestoftheround.Ifthiswasthelastloosetile,hetakesupthelasttwotilesfromtheregularwallandplacesthemontopofthedeadwallaswasdoneduringsetup.AclaimforaPungoraKongtakesprecedenceoveraclaimforaChow.(MultipleclaimsforaPungsorKongscannothappen,asthereareonlyfourofanygiventile.)Ifnoonewantsthediscardedtile,thenitisoutofplayfortherestoftheround,andthenextplayersimplydrawsatile(withoutshowingittotheotherplayers)fromthefrontofthewall,andthentakeshisorherturn.IfaplayerformsaChoworaPungusingonlytilesdrawnfromthewall,heshouldkeepithiddeninhishanduntilhecanwin.Notonlyisitworthmorepointsthisway,butotherplayersdon'tknowhowclosetovictoryheis,andhecanstillarrangethosetilesintoothermeldsifitbecomesconvenient,unlikeexposedmeldsonthetable.Ifaplayergetsfourofakindinhishand,hemustrevealitifhewantstoclaimitasaKong(otherwise,hewouldn'thaveenoughtilestobeabletowin).HeshowstheKongtotheotherplayers,thenplacesitonthetablewiththetwooutertilesfaceupandthetwoinnertilesfacedown,toindicatethathecompleteditentirelyfromthewall,thusearningmorepoints.Also,ifaplayerpreviouslyformedanexposedPungfromanotherplayer'sdiscard,andhelaterdrawsfromthewallthefourthofthattile,hemayaddittothePung,turningitintoanexposedKong.Thisisnotwithoutsomerisk,asdetailedbelow.Ifaplayerneedsonlyonetiletowin,thenhemayclaimthattilefromanydiscard,evenifitistocompleteaChoworthepair.Thisisreferredtoas"fishing",andaclaimtowinthegametakesprecedenceoveranyotherclaim.Iftwoplayerscouldwinwiththesamediscard,thentheonewhoseturnwouldcomenextinthenormalturnordergetstotakeitandwinthehand.Also,aplayerwhoisfishingmayclaimatileaddedtoaPungtoturnittoaKong,andthuswin(andgetsbonuspointsfordoingso).Ifaplayerdrawsafloweroraseason,thetileisrevealedandimmediatelysettothesideoftheplayer'shand.Itdoesnotcounttowardsthenumberoftilesinthehand,andwillprovidebonuspointsattheendoftheround.Itisimmediatelyreplacedbydrawingaloosetile,asdescribedinthesectiononKongsabove.Whenaplayerhasacompletehandofmeldsandapair,hemaydeclareitandshowittotheotherplayers.
