Introduction in Module 4说课材料
密山一中英语组 王强
Morning everyone, I’m Wang Qiang from No.1 High School in Mishan. The content I’ll talk about
is Introduce in Module 4, in Book I. But at first I’d like to say something about the whole module.
I(Analysis of teaching materials
The content in Module 4 is mainly about making the Ss pay more attention to their communities and homes by Social Surveying, in order to develop students’ awareness of
home-loving and social responsibility. In this module, there are two short paragraphs about home, a dialogue about Xiamen, a piece of listening material about community and a passage about countryside in western Europe. The Grammar is present perfect tense.
I’ve designed teaching materials and intentions, as following: Ask the students to read and listen to articles to develop their listening and reading ability, their access to information and problem-solving skills. By learning knowledge and key word phrases, help students enrich text learning ; develop students ' sense of cooperation by discussing. Based on this design , do some grammar studying and writing to develop their integrated skills and abilities, which are good groundwork for future learning.
II(Analysis of Ss’ Situation
Students in Senior One have just stepped into new school, and they have strong curiosity and desire for new things. Their passion for new things is the advantage of students’ learning. But
students have different basis of English, what’s more, requirements for English in senior are
different from those in junior, so Ss must adjust it. At the same time, teachers should give them necessary guidance and attention.
