英语演讲稿,喜欢的电影 篇一:presentation(根据英语经典电影对白ppt的演讲稿 2)(ppt在我的文辑里) A:First of all,I want to thank my front teammates. You really told me many movie's classical dialogs and the character’s postive attitude to life. B:Yeal,I agree with you.I learnt a lot too.And now,I want to introduce a movie which has a great influence on me for everyone. A:What? B:That is The Shawshank Redemption. It is about {AndyDefresne,a successful young banker who is sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife and her lover. Andy is sent to Shawshank prison. He make a friend named "Red" who has already spent many years inside. Over years in the prison, Andy gained the respect of the most of the other prisons and guards. More importantly, he never loses hope for the future---a hope he tries to pass on to the other prisoners.} A: Enen,{Shawshank is a story about hope. It’s about justice. It’s about the struggle to find the meaning of life, to find redemption, and the triumph of the human spirit. This film teaches us, as has been conveniently turned into a tagline, that " Fear " can hold you prisoner, but hope can set you free? .} B:Today I will perform a part of a scene in the movie. It show us although in the prison ,Andy never give up his hope. What about you play the role of Andy, and I Red? A:Ok { ANDY :My wife used to say I‘m a hard man to know. Like a closed book,高深莫测的东西,. Complained about it all the time. (pause) She was beautiful. I loved her. But I guess I couldn’t show it enough. (softly) I killed her, Red. I didn‘t pull the trigger(枪). But I drove her away. That's why she died. Because of me, the way I am. RED :That don‘t make you a murderer. Bad husband, maybe. Feel bad about it if you want. But you didn't pull the trigger. ANDY :No. I didn't. Someone else did, and I wound up here. Bad luck, I guess. RED :Bad luck? Jesus. ANDY :It floats around. Has to land on somebody. It was my turn, that's all. I was in the path of the tornado. I just had no idea the storm would go on as long as it has. I just didn’t expect the storm would last as long as it has. Think you'll ever get out of here? RED: Sure. When I got a long white beard(胡子) and about three marbles left rolling around upstairs,形 容神志不清, Andy:tell you where I’d go .Zihuatanejo. } A:In my opinion, movie is the life.It can affect human’s mind, set us thinking, jolt our menmory. B:What’s more, The movie is also a language school, through watching movie, we can expand us our Vocabulary , improve our spoken language B: So let us enter the palace of movie. That is all.Thank you. Why you will fail [fel] to have a great career [k?'r??(r)]你为什么不会成就伟业 中英对照演讲稿: I want to discuss with you this morning why you're going to fail to have a great career. I know some of you have already decided you want a good career. You're going to fail(Laughter). Those trying to have good careers are going to fail, because, really, good jobs are now disappearing. There are great jobs and great careers, and then there are the high-workload, high-stress, bloodsucking['bl?ds?k??], soul-destroying [d??str??] kinds of jobs, and almost nothing in between. So the people looking for good jobs are going to fail. I'm going to talk about those looking for great jobs, great careers, and why you're going to, why you're going to fail. First reason is that no matter how many times people tell you, "If you want a great career, you have to pursue [p?'sju:] your passion [?p???n], you have to pursue your dreams, you have to pursue, the greatest fascination [?f?s??ne??n] in your life," you hear it again and again and then you decide not to do it. I'm not quite sure why you decide not to do it. You're too lazy to do it. It's too hard. You're afraid if you look for your passion and don't find it, you'll feel like you're an idiot [??di?t], so then you make excuses [?k?skjuz] about why you're not going to look for your passion. And they are excuses, boys and girls. We're going to go through a whole long list, your creativity, and thinking of excuses not to do what you really need to do if you want to have a great career. So, for example, one of your great excuses is, "Well, great careers are really and truly, for most people, just a matter of luck, so I'm going to stand around, I'm going to try to be lucky, and if I'm lucky, I'll have a great career. If not, I'll have a good career." But a good career is an impossibility, so that's not going to work. Then, your other excuse is, "Yes, there are special people who pursue their passions, but they are talent. I'm not a talent. When I was five, I thought I was a talent, but my teachers have beaten that idea out of my head long since." (Laughter) Or" You see, if this was 1950, being completely competent, that would have given you a great career. But guess what? This is almost 2013. I have an interest! I have an interest! You tell me. I say, "That's wonderful! And what, what are you trying to tell me? It is not passion. Passion is your greatest love. Passion is the thing that will help you create the highest expression of your talent. Passion, interest -- it's not the same thing. Are you really going to go to your partner and say, "Marry me! You're interesting." And if that, you will die alone. What you want is passion. It is beyond interest. You need 20 interests, and then one of them, one of them might be passion. But then, there are some of you, in spite of all these excuses, you will find, you will find your passion, and you'll still fail. You're going to fail, because, because you're not going to do it, because you will have invented a new excuse, any excuse to fail to take action, and this excuse I've heard so many times. "Yes, I would pursue a great career, but I value human relationships more than accomplishment. I want to be a great friend. I want to be a great spouse [spa?s]. I want to be a great parent, and I will not sacrifice ['s?kr?fa?s] them on the altar ['?:lt?(r)] of great accomplishment." ? You know what will happen someday? One day you will have a child ,And the kid [k?d] will come to you someday and say, "I know what I want to be. I know what I'm going to do with my life." You are so happy. It's the conversation a parent wants to hear. And you know you're going to like what comes next. Says your kid, "I have decided I want to be a magician [m??d????n]. I want to perform magic tricks on the stage." And what do you say? "Umm ... that's risky, kid. Might fail. Can't make a lot of money at that. You know , you should think about that again , why not — " 然后你说什么, 你说~你说~ ‚嗯... 你知道 的~我不知道~孩子~ 你应该再想想~孩子~为什么不, ‚ And the kid interrupts you, and says, "But it is my dream. It is my dream to do this." And what are you going to say? Like this "Look kid. I had a dream once, too, but -- but." So how are you going to finish the sentence with your "but"? "... But I was afraid to pursue it." Or, are you going to tell him this? "I had a dream once, kid. But then you were born." Do you, do you really want to use your family, do you really ever want to look at your spouse and your kid and see your jailers [?d?e?l?(r)]? There was something you could have said to your kid when he or she said, "I have a dream." You could have said, looked the kid in the face, and said, "Go for it, kid, just like I did." But you won't be able to say that because you didn't. So you can't. You're afraid to pursue your passion. You're afraid to look ridiculous [r??d?kj?l?s]. You're afraid to try. You're afraid you may fail. Great friend, great spouse, great parent, great career. Is that not a package? How can you be one without the other? But you're afraid. And that's why you're not going to have a great career, unless -- unless, that most evocative [??vɑ k?t?v] of all English words -- unless. But the unless word is also attached [??t?t?t] to that other, most terrifying ['ter?fa??] phrase [fre?z], "If only I had ... " "If only I had ... " If you ever have that thought over and over again in your brain, it will hurt a lot. So, those are the many reasons why you are going to fail to have a great career, unless ... Thank you. In Every memory of’ youth 。all have Naughty students, concerned parents, strict teachers and first-love pains, have the count down reduce day by day on the playground . Juli Baker devoutly believes in three things: the sanctity of trees~ the wholesomeness of the eggs she collects from her backyard flock of chickens, and that someday she will kiss Bryce Loski. Ever since she saw Bryce's baby blues back in second grade, Juli has been smitten. Unfortunately, Bryce has never felt the same. Frankly, he thinks Juli Baker is a little weird--after all, what kind of freak raises chickens and sits in trees for fun? Then, in eighth grade, everything changes. Bryce begins to see that Juli's unusual interests and pride in her family are, well, kind of cool. And Juli starts to think that maybe Bryce's brilliant blue eyes are as empty as the rest of Bryce seems to be. After all, what kind of jerk doesn't care about other people's feelings about chickens and trees? Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin , some in gloss…… but every once in a while you find someone who’s iridescent ,and when you do,nothing will ever compare. never been embarrassed by where I 've lived before, I also never really thought about money, I knew we weren't rich, but I didn't feel like we were missing anything.
