Then they are going to take a plane to Hangzhou. They are going to see the West Lake and they are going to dring “Longjing Tea”. They will also visit Sanya.They plan to go to Xi’an and Harbin, too. Harbin is in the north of China. It is in Heilongjiang Province. Beijing is the capital of China. There are many interesting places to visit. Hangzhou is in Zheijiang Province in the east of China. The famous place there is the West Lake. Xi’an is in Shanxi Province. Sanya is in the south of China.It is in Hainan Province. Lesson 21 Peter’s family is in Beijing Hotel. They are going to stay there for a few days. The tour guide is telling them where they are going to visit. Peter:Where are we going to visit today? Guide:we’re going to visit the Great Wall this morning. And then the Ming Tombs this afternoon. Peter’s dad:Is the Great Wall far from here? Guide:No. It’s to the north of Beijing.The Ming Tombs are also are to the north of Beijing. Peter’s mum:When are we going to the Summer Palace? Guide:Tomorrow morning.The Summer Palace is very beautiful. There is a big lake and a lot of interesting places in it. Peter:we can learn a lot about the history of China. Lesson 23 Li Yan’s parents will take her to the world Park to learn about the famous places in the world. Mum:Can you see Big Ben and Tower Bridge over there?They are in London. LiYan:Wow,they are fantastic! Dad:Here’s America.The capital city is called Washinton D. C. I’m sure you’ll like Disneyland. It is one of the greatest theme parks in the world. LiYan：Great,we’ll go to Disneyland. What about New York? Dad:Yes, you’ll like New York.It is one of the biggest cities in America. Then wen can go go Niagara. Niagara Fall is in Canada. LiYan: oh,it’s so interesting.What’s that ,Dad? Dad:That’s the CN Tower in Toronto.It is the tallest tower in the world. Mum:Would you like to go to Australia? You’ll like the Sydney Opera House. LiYan:of course.I want to see all these famous places. Dad:Well, let’s go to Disneyland, OK? LiYan:Yeah! Super! Lesson 25 Look at this blue planet. This is our home. There are plains, mountains,rivers,lakes and oceans on our planet. There are all kinds of trees, flowers and grass on our planet. There are all kinds of wild animals living together with us. Don’t you want to keep our planet beautiful? But sometimes we do bad things to it. We waste too much water. We cut down too many trees. We hunt too many wild animals fot our food or cloths… We shouldn’t do these things. We should save our plant, because we have only one planet.
