Develop good living habits .(了解一些日常用品的制成,增加生活常识,养成良好的生活习惯。) Teaching and learning steps Step 1 Learn to read the words and phrases on P160-161 . 1.Read the new words using the phonetics and mark the words difficult to pronounce . 2. Read the marked words in turn in small groups. One student read, the others listen and help to correct the wrong pronunciation . 3. Several students read the words aloud in turn in class and the others correct their wrong pronunciations. 4. Read after the tape. 5. Read the words aloud by themselves again and the teacher walk around to see if they have any question. Get some individual students to read again to see if everyone can read correctly. (意图:利用音标读单词是一种能力,9年级学生已初步具有这种能力。让学生学会试读单词是一种学习习惯的培养,首先学生自己根据音标字读单词,并标出试读时有困难的。接着两人一组或以小组为单位解决遇到的困难。然后找单个同学读单词,教师及时更正错音,帮助学生正音。最后让学生跟录音读。如此几步的学习,大多数学生可以熟悉单词的读音,正确试读出单词。最后还是不会的同学,就给他们找“老师”,他们组的组长就是他们的“老师”,负责课下教会他们。单词的学习坚持从个体—同伴—小组—整体的原则,培养学生自主学习和小组互助学习的能力。尽量培养学生不用音标也能读单词的能力。) Step 2 Learn to remember words on P148-149 一. Then look at the Chinese and say English. 2. Then get them to work in pairs to spell the words or write down the words with the Chinese given in guide books. Underline the words they haven’t grasped. 3. Get the students to have a short dictation about the important words and phrases. If they can’t , dictate after class in groups. (设计意图:此环节为巩固单词。通过两两提问或使用助学默写的形式来对单词加以巩固。这一环节有五分之二的学生往往不达标,需要利用自习课或课余的时间让小组长跟踪检查,尽量能让再有五分之一的学生顺利过关,其余的五分之一还需要时间和同学习们的帮助,教师应及时督促、让小组长反馈检查的结果,做好跟踪检查。) Step 4 Read the story and translate into Chinese: 1. Get the students to read the story, and underline the new words. 2. Translate the story into Chinese in groups of three. 3. Read the story fluently by themselves. Last year joined winter camp--the travel to France. The traffic is very heavy,in order to avoid to be lost, the guide gave us each a postman blue cap and told us we could only take a handbag and a mobile phone. We were lucky to visit the celebration of the world art. We first visited the Germany Hall. They had a “Science and Art ” fair. Its gate is made of balloon. There’s a form of car made of grass and leaves in front of the gate because Germany is known for their cars. Many boss of companies were introducing how their company produce different kinds of products. SIEMENS is the famous brand of Germany. Their products are widely made of good steel and glass and the surface is painted with environmental material. In China hall, we watched the process of how to make Chinese clay art on TV. First shape the special clay and fire it at a high heat after drying. Then polish and paint it. It will take several days to complete all the work. I buy a packed lovely pig for my brother. After that we watched the competition of international cutting paper. The competitors were from over 20 countries. They used scissors to cut different kinds of things, such as flowers, animals or characters from fairy tales or historical stories. No matter where I go, I will buy some things for my family and my friends. In an everyday things shop I bought my mother 5 pairs of silver chopsticks and forks. I bought some France coins for my father. At last I bought a pair of cotton gloves and a blouse which was made in China for my friends. 去年我参加了法国之旅冬令营。交通很拥挤,为了避免走丢,导游发给我们每人一顶邮递员式的蓝色的帽子。并且告诉我们只能带一个小提包和一个手机。 我们有幸参观了世界艺术庆典。我们先去德国展厅。 他们举办 “科学艺术展览会”。它的大门是由气球做的。门前是一幅由草和树叶摆成的汽车形状因为德国因为汽车而出名。大厅里很多公司的老板亲自他们公司的是如何生产各种产品的。西门子是德国的著名品牌。他们的产品广泛地使用优质钢铁或玻璃,而且表层图上环保材料。 在中国厅我们先看电视上彩陶制作程序:首先要把土做成固定形状,干了后在火中高温烧。然后抛光涂色。要用好几天完成所有的工作。我给我的弟弟买了一个包装好的可爱的小猪。 然后我们观看了国际剪纸大赛。来自世界的20多个参赛者,用剪刀裁出各种东西,例如:花,动物或者童话故事或历史故事中的人物。 无论到哪里我都会给家人和朋友买点东西。在日用品店,我给妈妈买了5副日本制造的银筷子和餐叉。给爸爸买了一些法国纪念币。给我的朋友买了一副棉手套和一件中国制造的女衬衫。 (设计意图:词不离句,句不离篇。在学生掌握本单元单词的基础上,再学习由本单元的生词编成了一篇小故事,引导学生不仅记忆词汇本身的意义,同时在具体的语境中体会它的意义。体现了词不离句,句不离篇的教学原则。有助于学生学习理解和使用本单元的词汇。) Step 5 Mind map 1. Get the students to read the mind map and fill in the mind map according to the story , they can discuss in groups. 2. Get the students to retell the story using the mind map. (设计意图:把故事和思维导图结合起来,让学生加深对本单元词汇和短语的理解,使学生对词汇从逻辑范畴上记忆词汇。进一步把词汇和具体语境的连接起来,巩固对词汇的记忆。) Step 6 当堂检测 Ⅰ.按要求写出下列单词或短语。 1.避免;回避________ 2.完成_______ 3. 生产(动词)_______(名词) 4. wide (副词) 5. history(形容词) 6. leaf (复数)___________ 7. know (过去分词) 8.celebrate(名词) II.根据括号中的汉语意思或首字母提示写单词, 并用其适当形式完成句子。 1. I avoided _______ (meet) that something unhappy. 亮点: 本单元的单词课堂设计涵盖了本单元的全部49个词汇及词组。尤其是故事编写不仅让学生在故事中对单词有了大致理解,更是展开了丰富的想象让学生感兴趣,很适合本单元表推测的这种想象。单词的拼读注重了学生自学能力和小组合作能力的培养。同时通过各种形式的单词记忆既加深了单词的识记,又理解了部分单词的大致用法。当堂检测的设计更是有效地补充与巩固了词汇的用法。 不足之处: 一节课设计的有些多,如果合理的利用,还是能充分完成的。同时本节课容量较大,部分环节不能很好的展示与训练。 使用建议: 首先要对单元内容达到熟练掌握,能够基本明确单词在单元中的位置及其用法,同时必须准备完善的的多媒体,而且不一定每一步都详细的进行。要有针对性的取舍才能有效地增加课堂效率。 答案 Ⅰ. 1.avoid 2.complete 3.produce ;product 4.widely 5.historical 6.leaves 7. known8.celebration II. 1.international 2.traffic 3. postman 4. materials 5. lively III.1. isn’t allowed 2. balloons 3. is covered 4. are made 5.meeting
