第 1 页 (共 1 页) One of my friend is from Jilin province. She felt extremely unconformable in the south at the very beginning, not only with the food，but also the lifestyle. She couldn't understand why people take shower everyday in winter. She though it was crazy , unintelligible to bathe in such cold winter. Even after she married a southern guy several years later, she still refused to take shower everyday in cold seasons for the reason that she didn't develop such a habit in her childhood. As we all know that behaviour is related to the climate. In the sorth, the hot and humid weather makes people sweating, thus southerner has to take a shower everyday and it started from every southerner's babyhood. As a result shower becomes every southerner's habit. They will feel uncomfortable without shower a day. But Jilin province is in the northeast of China which enjoy cold climate with short summer and long winter , the annual average temperature in most parts of the province is 2-6 ?. That's the reason why my friend doesn't like to bathe so frequently, especially in cold winter. In my opinion, when we find that there are cultural differences between us and others, we must try to understand and respect others.
