1)初中单词量少,而高中单词量大,且有许多大词,词的长度也比初中要长。在记单
词的时候可运用前缀后缀和联想记忆的方法
a. 前缀后缀
un-

correct, incorrect,

organize, organization
congratulate , congratulation,
-ce/cy

,并记住这些前缀后缀。
b. 联想记忆
例如:subject: Chinese, Maths, Foreign Language/English, Physics, Chemistry, History,
Geography, Biology, Literature, Computer Science, Art ,P.E.
room: bathroom, living room/sitting room, kitchen, bedroom, balcony, study
2)出现新的语法,定语从句、非谓语动词、虚拟语气等均是高考的常考的内容。既是
重点也是难点。对语法的考查要求更高,更细。做
时要特别小心。

强调句型 It is/was +被强调的部分+that/who
指人时,这里的that可用who替换。强调句可还原。所以选A。
It was this school________ I met my best friend, Michael.
这时没有了介词at, 不能还原成一个完整的句子,所以不是强调句,只能是定语从句,
那么就选C
3)阅读题不再是简单的从文中就能找到内容的事实题,而是对我们阅读提出更高要求
的主观题。例如作者的观点或是给出文章的标题等。阅读时还要求我们去把握篇章结构。

即将完工的时候,生物学家们发现大坝底有一种叫蜗牛鱼的珍稀鱼类,如果
大坝最终建成的话,将影响这种鱼生活的环境而导致这种鱼的灭绝。于是环保组织向法院提
出了诉讼,要求大坝停工并放弃修建水库的计划,但在第一次诉讼中,他们失败了:初审法
院认为大坝已经接近完工,浪费纳税人一亿多美元的钱去保护一个鱼种是不明智的,拒绝判
决大坝停工。环保组织又上诉到最高法院。
终于,这些小鱼儿在最高法院赢得了它们的权利,依据是联邦1973年颁布的《濒危物种法案》。这些小鱼儿可以在它们的家园自由地栖息,而它们身边是那被永久废弃的价值一
