Patch modification – Point The shape of a patch can be modified by moving an arbitrary patch point (see figure below). Similar to the curve modelling, point modifications have a considerably stronger effect on the patch shape than control point modifications (see figure Point/control point modification by the same value). Activated diagnosis functions like sections and matching diagnoses are dynamically updated. The menu Patch Point Express, Point, Delta Vector, Delta For the description of these options please refer to Point and control point modification. Delta, Normal If the option Express is switched on, the point movement can be fixed in direction of the normal in the selected point position. o Dynamic point movement: If only Normal is switched on, the point can be moved dynamically. Select the point and move the cursor while keeping the left mouse button pressed. NOTE: With the right mouse button you may activate the context menu Mousewarp. o Numerical point movement: If the option Delta is switched on additionally, the point is moved by the specified numerical value.
