什么叫沟通能力强 最近两年因为业务发展,搞了多场招聘,面试了不少人,对一些应聘者喜欢在简历中扬自己沟通能力强,有些不同意见,承蒙网络朋友厚爱,希望我讲讲到底什么是沟通能力强,咱总不能老是“先做记号有空再说”,今天就谈谈。咱的看法不一定对,更不全面,一家之言,大伙姑妄听之,一起交流。 网友给我的留言是:沟通能力强的表现,主要是重在听,听懂对方表达的含义,关注言语之外隐含的信息,其次是说,在听懂的基础上,言简意赅,要言不烦的回答对方关注的焦点问题,如此才可缩短双方之间的距离。在读韦尔奇系列的丛中,感觉老韦在与读者(或听者,是指他在演讲时回答问题)互动时,这个特点特别明显。 我觉得这话说得没错,如果一个人能持续做到这两点,他的沟通能力肯定会很强。如果坚持向这两点去努力,沟通能力肯定会越来越强。 我再来做一些补充。 首先,我更关注操作问题,比如,我们都知道要倾听,但什么样才叫倾听?听到什么程度才叫听懂?我何以判断我已经明白他的隐含信息?倾听需要时间,如何时间不够,我怎么办?比如,我们都知道表达要清晰,但清晰的是什么?我如何知道对方是否理解了我的本意?为什么同样的话,对同样的人说会有不同效果?为什么同样的话对同样的人,在不同的时间地点也会有不同效果?等等。 针对以上种种问题,市面上出现了大量的书籍和讲座,告诉我们种种技巧,但我个人的实践经验,光有技巧是不够的。 我们再认真的倾听,不断地点头微笑,重复对方的话,但实际上听不懂,有什么用呢?我们再清晰地表达,但表达得别人听不懂或不想听又有什么用呢? 所以,我对“沟通能力强”的解释是“能有效沟通”,是能够舀到结果的沟通。 这需要我们回到“沟通的目的”上来,从目的出发,才能判断我们的沟通是否有效。在开口之前,我们一定要清楚,我想舀到什么结果?我是想传达一些信息?还是想说服对方接受我的想法?还是想影响他做一些决定? 明确了自己的目的,再去考虑清楚对方的目的(或需求),我们才能选择合适的沟通方式,从这个角度说,任何一种听或说的方式都是对的,都可能有效,只看你的目的是什么。从这个角度说,市面上流行着的千百种讲沟通技能的书和讲座,传授着上百种沟通方法,都可以认为是对的,是有用的。 但这又产生一个问题,对于刚步入社会的人来说很可能是巨大的问题:我是学习了101种沟通技术,但面对眼前这个人,我到底该用哪种呢? increasingly high, potential advantage. First, enhance the level of scientific and technological innovation work, play a leading role in technology innovation innovation development as "five concept" first, we will further deal 想当年,一个台湾师向我推销他的培训课,名曰《推销36法》,什么切香肠法,什么涂黄油法,等等,他讲得神乎其神,声称可以对付任何一种顾客,我忍了又忍耐心倾听之后,就问了他一个问题:要说服我听你的课,你用什么法?他答不出来。 所以,咱们还是整简单点。 我认为,构成沟通能力有两个因素,一是思维是否清晰,能否有效地收集信息,并做出逻辑的分析和判断。另一则是能否贴切地表达出(无论是口头还是书面)自己的思维过程和结果。而前者更重要,没有思维的基础,再好的语言技巧,也不可能舀到(传达、说服、影响)的结果。 所以,在面试中,我考察应聘者的沟通能力,实质上在考察其思维能力和表达能力两个方面。我的经验是,能讲,但脑袋拎不清的人很多,脑袋清楚但讲不清楚的人,没有――或许有,但他讲不清,所以我无法判断。 不少人很能讲,特别是在正规企业做过的人,受过这方面的训练,即使自己也不懂的东西,也能讲出个五五六六。这就好比某些领导的报告,总有一个套路在里面,换什么内容进去,也都四平八稳过得了关。而且他们很擅长转换话题,你问A,他答B,有点象政府新闻发言人遇到难以回答的问题时的情形。他们也很擅长在非关键处清晰,关键处含糊,利用语速变换、表情、肢体语言避重就轻。 遇到这样的同志,我一般会很礼貌而坚决地打断:“对不起,我不太明白你的意思。”然后请他重新讲过,我会不断追问细节,直至他讲清楚,或歇菜。歇菜咱就不说了,即使一个人最终把事情讲清楚了,但却是在我的不断追问下完成,你觉得我会认为他思维清晰么?你觉得我会认为他沟通能力强么? 如果你问:是不是我想得清楚,讲得清楚,就是沟通能力强呢?我的回答:那只是基本功,离强还有一定距离。 试想,既然沟通有两个要素,思维与表达,那么,我们可以推论,沟通也有两个层面,即思维的交流和语言的交流。一般人重视的都是语言的交流,但,如果你不能了解对方心里此时此刻在想什么,如果对方的思维没有跟着你走,那么,你想得再清楚,讲得再清楚,不也很象是在背台词吗?至少,是自说自话吧? 所以,沟通能力强,有一个重要的标准,就是你能实时把握对方的思维,而提前做出反应,使你们的交流从语言层面,上升到思维层面。 说了半天,还是举个例吧,比如,单口相声。 我没研究过相声,但从小听到大,能感觉单口相声是最难讲的,不信您讲一段试试?八成就是自说自话,无人搭理,台上台下一片尴尬。当然,你也可能说,有些演员说话,就是可乐,比如葛优,什么词儿到他嘴里都好笑。那是演员的功夫,咱不谈那个,咱谈的是脚本。 increasingly high, potential advantage. First, enhance the level of scientific and technological innovation work, play a leading role in technology innovation innovation development as "five concept" first, we will further deal 好的相声段子,一定是千锤百炼出来的,每一句都有每一句的作用,每一句讲出来,相声演员一定知道台下观众能有什么反映。所以,看似他一人在台上比比划划,但实际上他却跟全场观众都在互动交流。这种互动交流不是语言层面的,因为台下观众不能跟他一唱一和,那就乱套了。这种交流是思维层面的,他就好象能看见群众心里在想什么,感受是什么,他能因之而改变自己的道白和节奏。他就能知道什么话一说,台下立刻就会提起兴趣,所以他要先卖关子。他就能知道什么话一说,台下一定哄堂大笑,所以他要抖包袱。 而作为我们这些普通人,舀到相声脚本也讲不好,关键就是你不明白其中每句话的作用,你就不能用合适的方式把这句话表达出来。我们就是想象不出一句话讲出来,台下观众会怎么反应,自然,就舀捏不住表演的节奏分寸。 事实上,好的小说家,也都有很强的沟通能力,他就知道怎么写,能把你勾住,使你忍不住地一个劲往下看。好的导演,也有很强的沟通能力,他就知道怎么拍,故事才好看,大伙才爱看。我们经常称之为“会讲故事”,对了,就是这个词儿,在职场中,我们也得“会讲故事”。面试的时候,尤其需要会讲故事。讲故事表面上是你在讲他在听,是单向沟通,事实上,却是你在时刻调整自己,用他最爱听最能接受的方式讲出你想讲的东西。 同理,好的演讲,表面上是演讲者一个人在讲,事实上他也无时无刻不在与听众交流,在写演讲稿的时候,演讲者就已经预想了听众的种种反应,而有针对性地在讲稿中处理掉。 而我们绝大多数人,只知道想清楚,讲清楚,却并不能敏锐地判断,我这一句话讲出来,对方心里会怎么想,针对他的想法,我又要怎么去讲。所以,俺面试的时候很累啊,往往应聘者回答了我的一个问题,却引发我心中产生新问题,而他自己浑然不觉,我老人家只有苦苦追问。 举个简化之后的例子吧。 问:讲讲2007年你最有成就感的事情吧。 答:通过我的努力,业绩增长了30%。 然后就是沉默,等待我的下一个问题。 真正沟通能力强的人,一定会立刻反应,我下一个问题是“哪些努力?”或者是“为什么业绩增长使你最有成就感而不是其他事?”这时,你不要等我问出口,自己就应该接着往下讲:“这些努力是……”,具体回答略,让咱继续问下去。 问:为什么呢? 答:本来经销商不愿意做我们的新产品,经过沟通,他们接受了我们的产品,而increasingly high, potential advantage.
