First and foremost, the app is a visual storybook that tells the narrative of George Lucas’s “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.” It uses a 180-degree parallax scrolling feature to make the experience more immersive, and original artwork and character profiles also feature in each scene. The second part of the game is its podracing mode, and here users can take to the sands of Tatooine in their own podracer in order to compete against other drivers. An in-app points system allows users to upgrade their podracers, and fortunately, in-app purchases (IAPs) are absent from the application (meaning you’ll need to work hard in order to succeed!).
