IMT, a wholly owned subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, provides vetting services to all ExxonMobil Affiliates engaged in marine transportation using third party vessels flagged outside the USA. This document also provides the basis for the third party owned/operated vessel inspection program. The inspection program covers only vessels likely to be offered for ExxonMobil Af?liate Service. Its purpose is to determine if the vessel and its crew meet the environmental and safety expectations as described in this booklet. ——————————————————————————————————————————————— Vessel operators MUST familiarize themselves with the information regarding vessel inspections contained in this booklet. It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that their vessels meet the Marine Environmental and Safety Criteria (ME&SC) requirements and demonstrate this through an inspection report in the Sire or CDI database. Ideally this inspection report should be no more than six months old.
