Unit 2 Lesson 3 Exercise 7 I was visiting an engineering company in Beijing and I wanted to meet the director of production. Unfortunately,I had forgotten his nam Anyway,a secretary took me to his office,but there was no one there. I waited for a few minutes and then a man came in. I introduced myself and started into my sales pitch. But then another man came in and said. I am Mr Lu,head of production. This is Yunfeng,my driver. Unit 2 Lesson 4 Exercise 2 MR NGUYEN:This graph shows our sales figures for the last five year. As you can see,sales have increased steadily over this period and last year was a very good year... VISITOR:A rise of 20% in one year. That's a very good.How did you manage that MR NGUYEN:Well,we negotiated a new agreement with our trading partners in Singapore and this has helped us to increase our sales in this market. VISITOR:It certainly has.A 20% increase in sales in one year.That's a great achievement for a small company like yourselves.So sales were good last year,but what about overall profit. MR NGUYEN:Well,they were good too.Let me show you another graph.Now,as you can see,profits have also increased steadily over the last five years. VISITOR:Yes.I see last year was a very good year again.A rise of 15%. MR NGUYEN:Yes,this was because of the increase in sales in the Singapore market. but also because of a 30% increase in production. Unit 2 Lesson 4 Exercise 6 Learning presentation skills is one of the most useful things a business person can do Of course,it takes practice to give good presentation. but there are some simple and obvious things that will always make a presentation better For example,always speak clearly and confidently. Use visual aids if possible. Above all,know what you are talking about.
