By this he means that Berbatov was not mentally 精神上 ready to play. So what next for Berbatov? Spurs will be hoping that Manchester United will make an offer 出价 before the 1st of September, which is the deadline for transfers 转会的最后 期限. The question is how much Manchester United are willing to pay. Spurs' asking price 要价 is around £30m (378m yuan), but Manchester United are not expected to want to offer much more than £20m (250m yuan).
