1. Students should read the prescribed books according to the schedule.
See the following table.
2. Students need to complete the log-book after each reading period.
3. Reading Log Book and the prescribed book should be kept in the
teachers’ desk after reading lesson.
4. All students are invited to join in the Reading to Learn Award Scheme.
5. Class teachers will check students’ completion periodically.

Reading to Learn Award Scheme
Objectives:
, To cultivate a reading habit
, To inculcate a reading culture
, To widen the scope of reading and knowledge
, To enhance language proficiency through reading
Implementation:
1) In every Reading Session, students should make record in the Content
Page of the reading log and complete the log sheet (at least 50 words) in
accordance with the Weekly Program.
2) To qualify for an award:
, the log book should be legible, tidy and the total number of words per
sheet must be more than 50
, apart from the 5 prescribed books, students are encouraged to read
more books of various subjects. A simple book report form is provided
in log book.
, students should produce evidence of further readings, it may be in the
form of book report, bookmark/book-cover designs, slogan, storyboard
writing, graphics…...and attach them in the log book
, the no. of stickers awarded by the English / Chinese teachers will be
counted
3) Class teachers will check log book periodically and submitted
recommended entries for awards at the end of each term.
