为泽泻科多年生沼泽植物泽泻的块茎，味甘淡性寒，含有三萜类化合物，能影响脂肪分解，使合成胆固醇的原料减少，从而具有降血脂，防治动脉粥样硬化和脂肪肝的功效。常用泽泻降脂片，每次3片，每日3次，2,3个月为1疗程。 (4) 蒲黄 为香蒲科水生草本植物水烛蒲黄的花粉，性味甘平，含有谷甾醇、豆甾醇、菜油甾醇等植物甾醇，能抑制肠道吸收外源性胆固醇，从而起到降低血脂的作用。但只有生蒲黄有作用，蒲黄油及残渣无此药效。临床上所用片剂或冲剂，每日量相当于生蒲黄30克，1,2个月为1疗程，有显著的降胆固醇作用。 (5)山楂
