四川大学考研口语对话 1.What's your name? My name is DuQi hui. 2.Does your name have any special meaning? Oh,my name was give by my grandfather,he was a chinese teacher in a middle school,a long time ago he told me:Qi means very beautiful,Hui contains the meaning of intelligence..Perhaps, the two words"Qi Hui" express my family's expectations and wishes on me. 3. Where were you come from? I come from Bazhong,locating in the northeastern Sichuan Province,it is at the junction of Sichuan Province and Shanxi Province. 4. What kind of landscape surrounds your hometown? There are lot of sight spots in Bazhong,including the human landscape and natural landscape.Such as the Nuoshui River Scenic Area,Space Mountain National Forest Park and LiuBo-jians commemorative museum and so on.Every year, many tourists travel to Bazhong to see the beauty.The people in Bazhong are very warm-hearted and friendly, we welcome the travellers from all over the world.And the booming tourism industry has brought economic benefits to Bazhong. There are lot of sight spots in Chengdu,including the human landscape and natural landscape.Such as the Du Fu's Thatched Cottage,the Wangjiang Floor and the Dujiangyan ,and so on.Every year, many tourists travel to Chengdu to see the beauty .The people in Chengdu are very warm-hearted and friendly, we welcome the travellers from all over the world. 5. What is the climate like in your hometown? In Bazhong,it has 4 distinguished seasons,colorrful spring,lovely summer,romantic autumn and white winter.As most people,I like the spring of my hometown,as the spring bring hopes for the whole year,and the temperature neither high nor low.And when the spring comes～the mountains get green ,being very beautiful～it will give people a good mood. 6. What is people's favorite food in your region? Oh,perhaps,you have heared a famous saying ,it goes"Eating in China, the taste is in Sichuan",Chengdu's good food can be divided into three categories:the Sichuan flavor, the snack and chaffy dish.They are all very famous, and unique. 7. What do you do during the Spring Festival? En,during the Spring Festival,I have a lot of things to do,Under normal circumstances,I will watch some entertainment TV programs, visit my relatives and eat a lot of delicious food.Besides this, occasionally I read some godd novels. 8. Can you describe one of the main festivals celebrated ? Well, I want to talk something about the Spring Festival .The Spring Festival is one of chinese traditional festivals, it is a period of time which conncets the end of the year and the beginning of the comming year. Before the Spring Festival,people will buy a lot of things ,including meat, grain and some other necessities.During the Spring Festival ,all family members will be together,sharing the happiness of family. Besides this,people will pay a vist to their relatives in order to streng the feeling.Usually the children enjoy the festival, because that is when their parents buy new clothes and good things for them. However, with the modern economic developping,there is less and less flavor of the festival. But I still enjoy the Spring Festival,En,because during the festival,I would go home, acommpany my parents,and do some housework for them.Ok,that is all,thank you. 9. Tell me something about the customs of your hometown. Then I would like to talk about the marriage customs of my homeland. I come from Bazhong, where are amountains areas,the traffic is inconveninent and the information is blocked,so the economy is relatively backward . So marriage is usually formed through introduction of some matchmakers.Free love is still relatively rare. Under normal circumstances, if the two sides of the introduction both are content with each other,they will select a lucky date for wedding.Because it is consider that a lucky date can bring happiness to them.On the wedding day,he groom will give the bride's parents a lot of money,as the parenting return,the bride will carry a number of marriage portions,as their supplies necessities after marriage.Beside this ,the villager will get together to bless them. 10. How long have you lived in Chengdu? Well,I have lived in Chengdu for near four years. 11. What place in Chengdu do you like best? Why ? The Du Fu Thatched Cottage is my favorite, because the humanistic atmosphere is very strong , it shows us an epic of an ancient poet,allowing visitors to learn of Du Fu's life situations.So,if you go there, you can learn a lot of knowledge about Dufu. 12. Which is the best place you've been to China? I come from rural areas, and poor family, so I have not been to any places before,maybe Chengdu is the best place I have been to,I like this city of beauty and leisure.And after graduation, I will try me best to stay in Chengdu. 13. What is the biggest problem you will face? The biggest problem I will face is the economic problem. I come from rural areas, my parents both are out-and-out peasants,so the economic condition is not very good,moreover,my younger brother will be addmited into the university next year.So I plan to do some part-time jobs to earn the living expense.As the tuition fees, I may apply for a loan. 14. Could you tell me something about your family? There are six members in my family: my grandfather,my parents,my elder sister, my little brother and me. My grandfather is 78 years old this year, he previously was a chinese teacher in a middle school, the most I admire him is that he is good at calligraphy,especially writing brush character。 Then,my father and mother are out-and-out peasant,they go out for the farm work at dawn every day,the most touched me is their being industrious , thrifty and cautious. My elder sister is 6 years older than me, and I am 6 years older than my younger brother.My elder sister had been married, have being doing business.My younger brother is 17 years old this year,he is very smart, good at studying,so I believe he must be admitted to the University. My family members get well along with each other and love each other, it is so harmonious that some of my peers envy me. 15. When will you get married? Well,this is a difficult question to answer.Since the future is unpredictable.But if possible,I will get married when I am 27 or 28 years old. 16. What social responsibilities should a post-graduate take? In my opinion, as a post graduate, we should pay attention to national invents, should concern about the humanistic spiritm,should have strong sense of social responsibility and mission.Besides this,we should be strict with ourselves,start from the trival things ,to make a qualified post-graduate 17. What difficulties do your parents have concerning their old age? My parents are both in bad health condition. So I am very worried their health in their old age. 18. Which kind of professor do you like best? I like these professors who are friendly, cordial,approchable, erudite,moer over,strict like our fathers. 19. What does friendship mean to you? What kind of people do you make friend with? I think friendship is an essential part of life. Friendship means support and trust, friendship makes us not alone. I would choose the straightforward, sincere and happy people to be my friends. 20. What is your major? Well ,when in my undergraduate.I majored in the Chinese Language and Literature, and now I choose the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature as my major. 21. How do you like your major? I like my major very much,because I enjoy reading,and I am good at writing. This major can make me learn of many writers, it usually give me a pleasure and surprise . 22.When and where did you graduate? What qualifications have you obtained? I will graduate from the Humanities department of the ,,,,, University in July this year.Then I will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. 23. What impressed you most when you were at university? The most impressed me are my roommates.Last semester,during my preparing the gratuate entrance examination,they usually encourage me and console me,gave me plenty of support and understanding. With their help, I achieve a good socre. 24. What is the best university in your opinion? In my opinion,the best university lies not in the best buildings, but rather the best great master. 25. Besides reading,I also enjoy playing ping-pang and some other sports.Because from my perspective,When people exercise,they will look very dynamic, very sunny and very young.The benefits of exercise are obvious,it can keeps us healthy and give us good mood, so no matter how busy everyday ,I would like to exercise for at least an hour. In addition,While in a bad mood I enjoy listening to soft music and classical music,for instance,the Autumn Whispers,the Girl's Pray and the Joy and so on,they are very famous all over the world. 31.How do you spend your weekends? Under normal circumstances, I would get up late on weekends, then wash dity clothes and clean up my bedroom. Of course sometimes I would go shopping with my roommates,besides this,if I have any free time,I will read novels.Because reading novels is one of my leisures. 32. What is your favorite sport? My favorite films are comedy films and dramatic films. Which place interested you most? I have been to Beijing, the Great Wall and the Palace Museum are my favorite places, they let me admire the ancient people's wisdom and strength. 36.Do you enjoy traveling? If yes.Where and why? Although I have lived in Chengdu for four years,but I have not been to the vast majority of places in Chengdu,so I often lost way when I go out. 39. How will you overcome the difficulties? I would ask my classmates,because they are more familiar to Chengdu than me,or inquire on the internet,or search on the map. 40. Do you think you will be able to cope with English-demands of your intended study program? Yes, I think I can.I enjoy learning English, and have a better foundition, so I have been good at it, during my College I have passed the college English test brand 6, so I believe I can cope with it. 41. What difficulties do you think you'll encounter in your studies? My major is the Modern and Contemporary Chinese literature,it is requested to read plenty of literary works. I have read some of them during my college,but not all.so I am worried that I can not understand profoundly the literary works which unread. 42. How do you intend to study? I will strive to fulfill the learnning tasks assigned by my instructor,besides this,I will read literary works entensively.And then,if time permits,I will try to write some thesis. 43. Why did you choose our university? Being admitted to Sichuan University has always been my dream,because of the failure in the college entrance examination, I could not realize the dream, but now I have the opportunity, so I must strive to realize it. 44.What are your job prospects? After graduation, I would like to be an editor in a publishing house or a teacher in an university, because I prefer calm and stable life. 45. If there were an opportunity of studying abroad, what would you do? Perhaps I would choose to give up,first of all, my major is chinese literature,it is better to study in china.The second reason is that I love china,love Sichuan,last but not least,I do not want my family separated too far from me,otherwise I will miss them day and night. 46. Should you study more theory or do more practice? Give your reasons, please. I will do more practice. Since the theory is very empty and abstract,it is necessary to put theory into practice,only in this way, the theory can be translated into practical things. And ,in our daily life,the practice is more important than the theory, if you are only theoretical and not practical, then you are also not a successful person. 47. What do you intend to do after you finish studying? After graduation, I would like to be an editor in a publishing house, or choose to study for the doctor degree, and then become a teacher in an university, because I prefer calm and stable life. 48. What do you think of the future of China keeps an open policy? The Opening-up policy has been implemented for 20 years, it has brought a lot of positive changes to China , the contact between China and the world become more closely, China is developing at an unprecedented rate, I believe,the future of China will be better and better. 49. What do you regard as the most significant events in recent history? Maybe the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, because it finally realized the Chinese people's Olympic dream which formed a century ago,it show the charm of the Chinese culture and Chinese strengtht to the world. 50. What aspect of English do you find the most difficult? I think the word pronunciation is the most difficult. 51. How aware do you think people are nowadays about environmental issues? I think human beings are paying more and more attention to the environment problem. 52. How serious is unemployment among young people? Affected by the financial crisis,it is more difficult to find a job this year,among my classmates,only a small part of them have been employed,so the unemployment among young poeple is more and more serious. 53. In your opinion, what are the most serious problems associated with modern life? 54.What do you think have been the most important changes in your study field over the past 5 years? As the modern economy developping raiply, the pure literature can not develop adequately, in recent years,the form of literature have changed a lot:some new forms of literature begin to appear:such as the network literature,the message literature,the ecological literature and the cultural texts,and so on. 55. As there are more and more private cars, what do you think the government should do in order to encourage citizens to use public transport? Firstly, the Government should do a good job in publicity, these citizens who use the public transport will be awarded.Secondly, the Government may increase the car tax,enhance the price of gasoline. 56. How do you see yourself in ten years' time? In ten years'time, my physiology and psychology will be gradually matured.I will learn a lot of knowledge and some survival skills.Then I work calmly,live quietly. 57. What business do you hope to have? If possible, when I have enough money,I will open a small supermarkets belonging to myself. 58. What will do if you cannot find a job after graduation? Every time when I am in difficult condition, they always encourage me to be strong, they usually console me that everything will get better.Their encouragement,tenderness and love have made me become strong and self-confident.Thanks to them ,I love my family.
