Because of special property of inverter, normal motors cannot meet the need of high-speed or low-speed running and quick dynamic response. Speed variable special motors with inverter driven must be used for inverter system. According to special requirement of inverters, Zhongyuan Electric has researched in the aspects of electromagnetism, insulation and ventilation cooling of motors. Combining frequency conversion speed adjusting property and using CAD software design, Zhongyuan Electric promotes YVP2 series speed variable 3-phase AC asynchronous motors with inverter driven for all clients. YVP2 series speed variable 3-phase AC asynchronous motors with inverter driven absorb the strongpoint of international advanced products and reference advanced processing technology of PM synchronous motors. The design is done by computer assistant design technology, which results in high universal usage and substitution. The products can be used with local and international varied-SPWM inverter to form the speed variable control system. The speed variable range is wide. The is light. The noise is low. When the frequency is less than 50Hz, it shows the speed adjusting property with constant torque. When the frequency is bigger than 50HZ, it shows constant output power. The motors adjust the speed stably. There is no torque.- pulse. Also, the start-up torque is high while the start-up current is low. YVP2 series motors are completely closed with squirrel cage. The power level and the installation dimension are similar to Y2 series 3- phase asynchronous motors. They are the upgrade products of Y series motors. The structure of complete-closed, self- cooling fan and squirrel cage typed is suitable for the usage under bad environment. The products are of international advance level of 1990s. Comparing to Y series motors, Y2 series motors are of higher efficiency, larger start-up torque, higher protection level (IP54), improved insulation level (grade F and tested by grade B), lower noise (by loading noise check), nice exterior and more reasonable structure.
