Tea is one of the
three most
popular drinks
in the world.
There are many
tea drinking
countries and they all have there own
distinguishing features.
Britain is a
tea-drinking nation. Most British like their tea strong and dark, but with a lot of milk. English like drinking red tea especially milk red tea, lemon red tea. They usually have tea between 10 am. and 5 pm.
English have tea
breaks. The
traditional times for
tea breaks are at
11:00 am. and 4:00
pm. in the afternoon. Afternoon tea (the traditional 4 o’clock tea) is a small meal
not just a drinking. Cream tea and afternoon tea sandwiches are often served.
Although
Turkey doesn’t call tea their country drink the tradition of drinking tea there is as heavy as China if not heavier. In Turkey, people often have a cup of tea just after they get up without having breakfast in the morning and most of them like having red tea. When Turks making tea, they often pay much attention to the modulation time. They think tea with bright transparent red color, a sweet smell and a good taste is the best.
India grows a
lot of tea every year apart from China. But what makes it different is 90% of Indian tea is red tea while Chinese green tea.

American’s drinking custom is very
different from people from other countries. They like putting soluble tea in the fridge

Another difference is Americans also drink cocktail with tea. Usually they put red tea in cocktail and the red tea must be good. This kind of drink can keep up people’ spirits so it is very popular in the US.
