New York City is a metropolis of globalization, and the most important world-class city, even it impact the global media, politics, education, entertainment, and fashion directly. New York and London, Paris, Tokyo are known as the world's four major cosmopolitan city. New York City is located in the largest metropolitan area in the world-the heart of the Greater New York metropolitan area, which is the international economic, financial, transportation,arts and media center, and even it is regarded as the representative of urban civilization. As the headquarters of United Nations is in the city, so it is hailed as the"capital of the world". Many world-class museums, galleries and performing arts venues are located in New York City , which making it one of the cultural and entertainment center of the Western Hemisphere. Because of the 24-hours operation of subway and the uninterrupted crowd, New York is also known as" City That Never Sleeps ".

Beijing is China's second largest city by urban population after Shanghai, and is the country's political, cultural, and educational center, also the home to the headquarters for most of China's largest state-owned companies. Beijing is a major transportation hub in the national highway, expressway, railway and high-speed rail.
Beijing Capital International airport is the second busiest in the world .There are few cities have been the centre of political and cultural area as immense for so long in the world. Beijing is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It has been the heart of China’s history for centuries, and there is scarcely a major building of any age in Beijing that does not have some national historical significance. The city is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, and huge stone walls and gates. Its art treasures and universities have made it a centre of culture and art in China till now.
